Jean-Marc Vacheron opened his workshop in Geneve in the now distant 1755. That was the cornerstone of the oldest watchmaking manufacture in the world. His very complicated watches were especially highly esteemed by the royal and court customers in Paris. After several centuries and numerous changes, this brand with a Maltese Cross in its center is nowadays still the guard of the utmost art of watchmaking and tradition. Vacheron Constantin is situated at several locations: new production unit and administration are at Plan-les-Ouates, workshops are at Le Sentier, while the old building, housing the museum and a boutique, are at the very heart of old Geneve. Cornerstones of Vacheron collections are Patrimony Traditionnelle, Quai de I'lle, Historique, Malte and Overseas.
